BitShop E-Mail services offered:

E-Mail Forwarders: Allows you to configure names @ <yourdomain.com> to forward to your existing e-mail account you already have. Most users have an existing mailbox with their dial up service provider. There are a few downsides to using E-Mail forwrders: 1) If there is ever a problem neither us nor your e-mail POP account provider can troubleshoot the problem fully since the mail may be in between our systems. 2) You have to read all the mail at once in one place, 3) You may want to split your sales mail from webmaster feedback into two different mailboxes; i.e. POP accounts. To do this you will need a more advanced solution.

POP Accounts: Similar to E-Mail forwarders you define names @ <yourdomain.com> - However the mail will be kept on BitShop's servers. Should you require technical support, have a problem, or need addtional e-mail services configured we are a single point of contact. Using distinct mailboxes for different e-mail addresses under your domain you could read webmaster feedback at the time you wish, sales mail at the time you wish, etc.

The above two options will take care of most retail and small business customers. The below mail options are for a larger e-mail solution for your company.

ETRN / Mail Queuing: BitShop can integrate with an in-house mail server using ETRN or Mail Queing techniques. Setting up a custom MX record to your existing mail infrastructure can be done for a one time setup fee of $25.
